As a Sourcing Sustainability Coordinator, you become a member of a rapidly growing global organization in Purchasing Excellence. Responsibilities of this specific role will include, but not be limited to the following:
  • Take an active part in the framework and tools development managing Chemical compliance activities within Group Purchasing to boost the MDS (Material Data Sheet) data collection activity
  • Provide inputs to improve the CDX (Compliance Data Exchange) platform user interface to ensure efficient utilization
  • Meet related KPI’s and metrics and support reporting the status to the Sourcing Sustainability Team, Group Purchasing and the Product Chemical Compliance Team on a regular basis
  • Ensure the progress of the onboarding vendors to CDX is on track and actions are in place in case targets are not met
  • Conduct and support the daily management and monitoring of the MDS data collection to and contribute to improve the compliance status of the related items and to the team performance to be on track
  • Provide extensive trainings to the suppliers about the digital platform(s) and tool(s) they have to use
  • Conduct various follow-ups (calls, e-mails, online meetings) with external vendors and utilize the escalation channels and internal network in Group Purchasing once challenges have been identified in vendor cooperation
  • Conduct and/or participate in compliance and sustainability related reviews with vendors
  • Take an active part with risk assessment, audit review, monitoring & managing chemical compliance within the organization when required
  • Support and maintain strong cooperation with key stakeholders
  • All other responsibilities and/or tasks assigned by direct manager

Required:
  • Higher level degree (preferred with a focus on environmental science, environmental health, sustainability, international relations, public policy, supply chain management or similar)
  • Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills (speaking further language(s) is an advantage
  • 1-2 years relevant experience is an advantage but not a must
  • Demonstrated passion for sustainability
  • Advanced in using the Microsoft Office products
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Positive mindset
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable to deal with due dates
  • Well structured, cares about the quality of work
  • Result driven, energetic team player who is proactive, curious and eager to learn
